This litter is all spoken for... feel free to browse the diary and enjoy.
24th Jan - The gorgeous Lyndhurst Choccy Sensation & handsome Alexlab Kernow Lad have had their second family together. Arriving today they had 2 Chocolate Girls, 1 Chocolate Boy & 3 Black Boys
26th January- A quiet couple of days, mum recovering well and pups visibly growing. Mum on four meals a day of soft low residue diet and just starting on raw meat again.
27th Jan - Mum had an upset tummy last night due to her antibiotics, a day of rest and fluids and no more antibiotics has seen her recover and is now back on a more normal diet.
28th Jan- as can be seen from the pics above, the family are doing well. Mum spends most of her day still with her pups , feeding, cleaning and tending to them. She sleeps with them all night still. Pups are crawling about and spend most of their time feeding and sleeping . Eyes still closed as is normal for this age.
30th Jan - A quiet night last night mum moved out of whelping box for half an hour sleep on the queen sized bed ! first time she has left them at all over night. Mums scar healing well, stitches still in. Mum is now eating her normal diet and having four big meals a day plus whatever she can persuade us to donate! Pups are still feeding constantly and growing rapidly as is normal at this stage.
1st Feb - Hard to believe they are just over a week old today...time is flying and pups are growing. Time for them to have their nails clipped tomorrow to protect mums flanks from sharp little claws.
3rd Feb- Pups continue to grow fast and today several have their eyes either open or starting to open...now the fun begins. Whelping box side now up to prevent escapee's. Mum sleeps most of the night with them still and feeds them most of the day also taking an hour out occasionally to eat herself and sleep in the family room with the rest of us ...within earshot of her pups.
7th Feb - Pups didnt enjoy the heat yesterday despite the evaporative cooling , wet towels in the box did settle things down however. Also getting noiser at night the previous few nights so began pups on their first taste of solids, given puppy mince (mix of beef, ox tongue & beef hearts) apart from having to be persuaded that my finger was not part of the meal all were very keen to have their first mouthfull. Given another teaspoon worth after mum had given them second breakfast this morning.
12th Feb - the last four days have focused on keeping mum and pups cool...also the humans here. Pups have grown again and are starting to interact with each other in passing. Mum continues to feed regularly though as normal in heat of day stays out for a few hours so her body heat isnt adding to pups discomfort. Pups were wormed this morning for intestinal worms and given their first play toys...cardboard rolls, check out the pics below.
13th Feb- Pups are doing very well, still sleeping most of the day away. Mum has a huge milk supply still , she is (as is normal) moulting at present...hence her coat appears a lighter colour and my floors are somewhat hairy !
16th Feb - Another day another breakfast, Pups are having two meals a day of meat now and are still feeding from mum the with the same frequency. They are sleeping overnight except for feeding from mum.
19th Feb - First day in the outside nursery, both mum and pups enjoyed the extra space.
26th Feb - a busy week keeping everyone fed, clean and cool ! Mum is now feeding her pups about four to five times a day and they are getting 3 meals of solids a day which consist of meat, rice /veg mix & puppy biscuits. Due to camera problems there has been a gap in pics..apologies but problem now remedied. Pups had their claws clipped again yesterday to preserve mums undercarriage.
28th Feb- Pups have all their meals off trays now, but you need to be quick if you want to see them eat ! Mum still feeding them about 4-5 times a day also.... still growing rapidly. Looking forward to seeing their families again.Hard to believe they are five weeks old today ! not long till they join their new families.

5th March - Pups have had a few visitors this week, there are names chosen for most and meals have increased in size from me and decreased in number from mum who feeds now about 3 times a day. Vet booked for Friday to do immunizations, microchips and health checks.
Mum still ravenous, working in tandem with the other mum yesterday some defrosting meat in a container magically fell off the freezer ! Sadly for the mums it was rescued.. Both mums getting four meals a day plus snacks and the amount of meat being increased daily.........am off to supplier for another 50kg today

9th Mar - Post breakfast play. All were given intestinal wormer on 5th March and immunized & micro chipped on Friday. 3 pups protested quite loudly to the vet but despite this all were fine and continue to eat ,play and sleep as before. They are also still growing as families visiting will testify...all are amazed at how fast their pups are growing. Now on 3 meals plus supper, mum only dashing in 2-3 times a day for almost feeds, growling at pups as she really wants to stop feeding and just play with them now.
10th Mar -A new toy to investigate - well it captured the imagination of 5 of the 6 pups anyway.
15th March - Pups given some bones today and they did understand the concept of what they were for straight away ! lots of chewing practice for teething babies.
17th March - Hard to believe this family is already seven and a half weeks of age where has the time gone ? Final worming given today and parents also. Paperwork being put into folders , certificate names and details being recorded.
18th March - Mum has been slowly spending time with each of the pups comfort items over the last couple of days getting her scent on them for pups to take home and sleep with..... I think she was impressed with the whole process. She is also still spending alot of time with pups , who have an occasional suckle but no milk left now.
21st March - All bar two of our pups left today for their new homes.
22nd Mar - All our pups have now gone to their new families, I wish them well on this exciting stage of their new journey... they are all going to wonderful families who will love them dearly. I look forward to hearing how all are going in the years ahead.
23rd March - Some photos of our fur babies in their new homes.
19th April - Some of this litter at 3 months of age....still so very cute.
